The Trust is a fund established by the former Circle Theatre and the Drama Circle, Belfast, to provide assistance to individuals, in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, who wish to further an interest in different aspects of theatre:

Points for Guidance

• Applicants will be asked to provide details of how and when the proposed grant is to be used.

• If wishing to use the grant towards a drama course, a place must already have been offered and written proof of a placement must accompany the application form. Please do not send originals of any document. You may be requested to bring originals to an interview if you are short-listed. Copies only please at this stage. Please forward supporting documentation to The Secretary, 12, Lenaghan Crescent, Belfast, BT8 7JD. Alternatively you may electronically scan supporting documentation and email it as an attachment to info@dramacircletheatretrust.org

• Within three months, the successful applicant must submit, to the Trust Secretary, a written report on the use of the grant, together with all relevant receipts.

• A short-list of applicants will be complied.

• Short-listed applicants will be required to attend a specified venue for interview.

• The amount of the grant will be at the discretion of the Trustees.

• The decision of the Trustees is final in all matters relating to the awarding of the grant and to the choice thereof.

• The Trustees cannot be held responsible for the non-receipt of application forms.

• Completed forms must be received not later than Friday, 16th May, 2025.
